Your TSH can increase in pregnancy, but what you describe sounds more like anxiety and the effects of progesterone (exhaustion). I would check with your clinic xx
I have that now but I am 30 weeks pregnant so possibly why - but I did research and it can be thyroid issues. I’m on 100mg thyroxine daily to manage mine as I’ve always had thyroid issue (high TSH) that at the start of my pregnancy, increased significantly so my dose was increased. I would check with your clinic as it may be anxiety or it may be thyroid related - a simple blood test will tell you whether your levels are within range.
Thank you for your reply. Last time I checked my TSH was 1.95 but I’m on 88mcg already basically doctor told me I no longer have thyroid function 🤦♀️.With pregnancy I know it’s gonna increase.
My TSH in early pregnancy was nearly 8, so really high hence the high dosage of thyroxine. If yours is 1.95 then that’s within range, you can always have it checked out if you wanted to make sure it hadn’t increased too much xx
My tsh level came out at 2.13 so the doctor said it’s normal. But I looked back at my last pregnancy the tsh sky rocketed at 7 weeks pregnant, and this time I tested when I was only 4 weeks 😅. Now I’m thinking maybe I tested too early and I should test again in 3 weeks.
Do you remember how far along you were when your tsh was taken?
I was very early, maybe 5-7 weeks but then it was also monitored and still is every four weeks. It does increase with pregnancy so good to keep an eye on it xx
