I’ve been on such a high because we found out our last round of IVF worked and I am 7 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I was tested positiv for Covid and now I’m so scared. I don’t know what this means for me 🙏
Has anyone been in this position?
I have a sore throat and sneezing.
I’m really worried and alone during quarantine!
Thanks

Hey I too had covid when I was 7 weeks! I'm 9 weeks now and baby and me are fine!
I had a fever for a few days which I kept down with paracetamol. Also I used wet flannels on my head and chest that also helped.
I gargled salt water for the sore throat.
I drank tea with honey and lemon but only 2 cups a day as you need to be careful with the caffeine intake.
I was very achy and everything hurt for days
Unfortunately there's not much you can take while pregnant
I have really bad morning sickness and when I had covid one day it got so bad I couldn't keep down any water so was admitted to hospital. I had 4 bags of IV fluid put in me over 10 hours and made me feel heaps better.. so if that happens to you call 111 and they will get a ambulance to come get you if you have no way of getting there.
Don't mean to scare you but just telling you what I went through to reassure you all will be fine 😊
I too had to quarantine alone, I used apps like Getir and Zapp to deliver water and fresh fruit.
After about a week I felt back to normal. Try not to worry although I know it's hard! Baby will be absolutely fine
I had a scan on Christmas eve to just make sure and baby was growing well and moving around!
Rest and try sleep as much as possible, drink plenty of water. If you start developing a fever or are achy take paracetamol.
Oh thank you so much, this is very helpful! I’m so worried!
Yes I am vaccinated but my second one was in June. And I haven’t had my booster because of IVF and then getting pregnant. I’m also isolated and on my own. Ordered food today too.
I’ll try the salt water because my throat is sore 🙏 thanks for that
