5 weeks 2 days and bright red blood
I did bleed at 6 weeks and had brown spotting from pessaries. I now have my 5 week baby boy in my arms
Don’t ask on here, go to the hospital even if they won’t answer the phone. Blood is always worth getting checked out
Yes I did, the day before our 7 week viability scan.
Blood went from browny/red to bright red back to dark red in a space of 20 minutes, I thought it was all over.
Went in for my scan expecting to be told I’d MC. Instead elated to see a sac with a strong heartbeat.
The reason I bled was I had developed a subchrionic hematoma which was nearly the embryos head.
It took two months for it to disappear. But I sit hear now looking at our beautiful 3 1/2 week old daughter in her cot
Go to the EPU first thing - the least they can do is confirm they can see a yolk sac and that nothing else is wrong and give you a plan of action
Thanks everyone, I went to EPU yesterday and they scanned me and confirmed am measuring 5 weeks 2 day which is exactly what I should be, they said there was no blood at all around the baby and they couldn’t see any, couldn’t see a heartbeat but they said it’s too early, they r going scan me again in 10 days...xx
Hello all,
I’m exactly in the same boat as OP and I’m worried sick. The blood is thin pinkish-red and only 1 tiny clot so far. My clinic said I need to double up my dose of utrogestrsn pessaries to 600ug for 24 hours and see how it goes. My viability scan is booked for 31st Dec and it would be upsetting to start a new year with bad news.
I’ll call the EPU in the morning and see what they say.
Just keeping everything crossed that this little bean stays with us.
I’m 5 weeks 2 days. FET was done on 1st December. I think I just need a scan or even an hcg blood test to know that everything is ok. The whole process is super stressful
