Hey. I tested again yesterday 11DP3DT and it was negative. I knew it would be as I have put myself through the torture of daily testing since day 8. Woken this morning and AF pains are crippling. I can’t wait to get off these pessaries now and have this bleed which has been trying to come for the last week. 💔. Our second failed cycle . We only had one embryo in our first private round and this round was NHS and we only had two embryos - both we’re transferred . We never seem to get much in terms of numbers or quality to play with. The thought of doing this all again breaks me 😫. Sorry to be doom and gloom I am just so sad today .

Have you read the book itstartswiththeegg ? I would recommend you buy the second version. There are a list of supplements in there that focus on egg quality and if you have diminished ovarian reserve you could try DHEA? It's recommended you start approx 4-5 months before you do your next cycle. It is expensive keeping up with all the different tablets but in my opinion it worked for us. I have really low AMH at 29/30 with a level of 2. I took all the supplements. We got 4 eggs, 2 fertilised but were of a really high quality and it worked for us first time.

Also I put my partner on the supplements they advised for men in the book as his motility was low at 6%. After 4 months when they retested him upon egg collection/sperm collection day his motility was 40% so we were amazed. He did had some time off work also which I think helped loads but I honestly think the supplements worked with quality.

Wow. Thank you for this reply. This is definitely something I will do. Initially our “problem” was my partners sperm but as I am now not getting any younger, my egg quality is getting worse too. I get the eggs (had 8 this round) but the sperm only fertilised 2 of these ! 😫.

Yes we did ICSI too due to my partners sperm motility however on the day turns out we could have done IVF lol! We had paid for ICSI however so still went ahead with this. I really recommend the supplements I 100% think they worked for us.

We only ever did 1 round and it worked first time. We transferred 2 embryos at day 2 and im now pregnant with twins so I think we have been very lucky. I did an awful lot of research before we went into it which is when I found the book. Unfortunately we found our clinic did not suggest any of the supplements, it was only when I mentioned to them that I had read about the benefits of DHEA that they said yes that rights we would recommend this for DOR... Also as well as all the supplements in the book I also took a DHA supplement from zita West because I dont like fish and knew I couldnt eat the recommended amount. Plus I also either drank an active for gut health or took gut culture gummies. My clinic advised there is q link between gut problems and failed pregnancy.
