Just got the call to say our transfer’s going ahead tomorrow (eeeek 😬🤞🥳).
They mentioned that partners aren’t allowed to attend at the moment due to their Covid policy. I don’t mind at all, just wondered if this is still common practice at clinics? For some reason I thought they would be allowed in!

Hey, good luck!! My partner wasn't allowed in back in June which I understood but I had another FET end of last month and was told the same which I was more suprised at. I didn't mind too much though, just wanted to get it done lol xx
Yes I had the same when I did my transfer back in August. Hubby was allowed at the initial consultation but wasn’t allowed in for the actual transfer. He was allowed in for my viability scan so I got the impression they were just being strict about the clinical space they use for egg collections and transfers?
Yeah same! Wasn’t too bothered about the transfer but the scan was a must! The transfer was the only but I had to covid test for as well. I guess a lot of it will depend on the size and layout of the clinic xx
My wife got to be with me for all major appointments like embryo transfer (October this year) and viability scan but not the endo scratch or baseline scan. Wishing you lots of luck! Xx
I’ve had a transfer on the 30th Oct and my partner was allowed to come with me, seems like it’s different rules in different hospitals.Best of luck to you xx
Great news about your transfer tomorrow - best of luck!
Our clinics current policy is partners are allowed for embryo transfer & viability scan but not other appointments. I had to plead with them to let my partner in for our ultrasound last Friday and I’m so glad they let him because receiving that news on my own would have broken me I think xx
Best of luck for tomorrow! 👍 I had my FET on 2nd Nov and it’s the first time since we started the process that my OH has been allowed in, so a pretty recent change at my clinic I think. Baby dust xx
My husband was allowed to be there, but we had a childcare issue so he waited outside in the car with my daughter! I think they try extra hard to relax you given the circumstances. Good luck for today xxx
