Hi, my husband had a Semen analysis, semen culture (picked up two infections), oxidative stress test, DNA fragmentation (Comet test which picked up high levels - 52%), and a sexual health screen. He also had an ultrasound which was recommended by his andrologist (and helped because it found he had hernias in his groin). It was a lot to spend on testing but it helped him understand his initial semen analysis results and we decided it was much less than a failed cycle. We miraculously fell on our first cycle with our only blastocyst when we had been considering using a sperm donor. A good urologist will be able to help you navigate which tests you need. I’m in London so I can’t help with suggestions but wish you lots of luck. x
Try your GP he maybe able to suggest a urologist in a local hospital or call your local NHS/ private care hospital Hope you get the help you are looking forThinking of you
Thank you, our GP has already told us he has no plan to get involved with any additional testing unless our clinic specifically requests that we do. Which they won’t because they aren’t interested in why his sperm are poor. Typical situation with lack of male testing.
We have managed to find someone private, We may just end up paying a small fortune for it.
I am in the same as you slightly low Amh and make low mobility. I had a failed ivf round last year I had 4 fet all failed implantation. I did the ERA test that didn’t show anything but you could try that !
