Curious…..what times did you choose for progesterone pessaries?

Hey how are you all? Curious at what times you chose to do your pessaries? I’ve been told rectal am and vaginal pm? But what time worked best for you in the am & pm?

Hi I try and do 7:30am/pm but i get really distracted so have had days where it’s been a little off and had to do it when I remember. Good luck xxx

I wasn't given any times or to told take them a certain time apart (I asked as I'd seen others on here mention 12 hours apart etc), but was just told the dose and that it's good to space them a bit. I generally tried for morning, lunchtime and evening for the Ultrogestan and the lubion injections morning and evening, but definitely didn't manage the same times each day. The delivery of my meds was also nearly two days late after I'd had my BFP so I had a period of time with a very low dose compared to what I was meant to be on, I was very worried but the clinic wasn't - they said it takes quite a while for the levels to change and it's more about having the right amount 'overall'. I was a bit sceptical but it's all been fine. X

Hi there, I take mine at 6am and 6pm both vaginally. I have had issues in my previous cycles by taking it rectally as it wasn't absorbing properly so my levels were low. My new clinic only wants you to take them vaginally to ensure the uterus gets the benefit. I lie down for an hour and I get very little leakage, I wear a pantyliner but not much comes out. Good luck dear xx

I take mine vaginally at 9am and 9pm and although the clinic said to lie down for 20 mins after I find an hour is much better to prevent lots of leakage.
