Ovaleap, where's best to inject?

I'm due to start stims tomorrow evening, our nurse has said to inject into my tummy area however I've read if your curvy you can also do it in your thigh?

I think the thigh makes more sense as it's downwards rather than at right angles so less needle movement.

What have you found works best?

Hey. During my fresh cycle I needed an operation before (ended up having two) and had to go on blood thinning injections for 6mths so with that and ivf injections I can honestly say I found the tummy easier. Think we counted over 200 injections I did over 7mths 😩. Do which you feel more comfortable with I say. Good luck 🤞🏼 💕

Last year I too had blood thinners was the first time I had to self inject and I hated needles. Thankful for the experience though because they made my ivf injections feel easy peasy lol

I found tummy far easier than even the thought of my leg. I did find some spots on my tummy easier to inject than others. Some places as soon as the needle touched me I felt it, others didn’t feel a thing but that was a lot of trial and error moving it around.

Good luck but ultimately do what feels best for you! 💕

Hi hun, for me personally I've always found the tummy hurts less and is easier. I was advised to avoid injecting too close to the belly button, and to inject at the same level or below the belly button, which seemed to work out well for reducing discomfort. Good luck 🙂

I did ovaleap in tummy and fyremadel in the thigh. I didn't find the ovaleap painful at all (still not fun) but the fyremadel really stingy.
