Getting ready for the next transfer..... (Warning - trying for baby number 2)

Hi everyone, it has been a while as I took some time out after our failed transfer in Feb this year. I had hoped to go again in September but for various life reasons it did not happen!

I have an appointment with my clinic today to make sure everything is okay to go ahead for another transfer before the end of the year. I have 2 frosties left and in two minds about whether I have both transferred this time. I am going to discuss this with my consultant today and see what he thinks.

I have been struggling with pregnancy announcements again as we try to conceive again and have had to come off some social media accounts. I really wish it didn't have to be like this for us but I also know how lucky we are to have our gorgeous 2 year old.

I hope all those on this journey get the outcome they deserve.

Welcome back on the rollercoaster!! We'll probably be transferring next week. Last throw of the dice with 2 embies from a cycle we've just done.I've been feeling a bit bitter around pregnancy announcements too. So grateful to have my little girl, but also how unfair it is that we have to go through so much (and spend so much!!) to get our family and other people can just decide to have another baby if they want.

Hope everything goes smoothly with your appointment and you get the go ahead to transfer, and hope we're both pregnant together again in 2020 xxx

Yes it is so unfair and the financial burden is huge! Scan went well and the consultant has given me the go ahead to gave a transfer next month when my period arrives. It is definitely a rollercoaster and you think once you have had a baby you might have stepped off it but it just seems to go off in a different direction! Wishing you all the best in your journey and hoping your embies stick 🙏 xxx
