Started injections yesterday and today the lining is too tick :(

Hi, I started the injections yesterday after I finished the downregulation medication and I started my period. I did the baseline scan yesterday and my lining was too thick. Did another scan today and it's gone down but still thick. Another scan tomorrow... Has anyone gone through this lately? I hope it's not delayed, we were looking forward to start all the process after so long trying :(

Sorry to hear this 💚 I haven't experienced this myself but I know how frustrating it is when you're finally getting going and the brakes are put back on 😣 Hoping things are better on your next scan xx

Thank you 🙏🏼 they called me an hour ago but it went straight to voicemail and they didn’t leave a message. Tried to call but they were closed already. They were supposed to call me only if things had to stop. I hope not…we’ll see tomorrow!

Thank you very much! They called me yesterday to say it’s ok so I’m very excited to carry on! 💜

I am a bit confused...🤔 As far as I know after downregulation you need to have a scan done to check your lining and ovaries. If the lining is fine then you will start stimulation, if the lining is too thick you will have to carry on with down regulating until they are happy with your lining. I am not an expert but this is what happened to me 3 times (I had 3 IVF cycle long protocol). I hope everything will be fine 🤗💞 keeping everything crossed for you 😊

Thanks! Apparently it’s ok so I can carry on with injections and on Thursday I’ll have the 5 day scan and blood test. Probably you are right and if it was too thick they were going to keep me on down regulation? I’m doing the short protocol, maybe that’s also why it might be different. I don’t know, still learning about all this. 💜

You are on long protocol (agonist) because you are down regulating. Short Protocols are those without down reg (antagonist). Fingers crossed for your day 5 scan 🤞 ♥️ hope everything will be fine 🤗😍

I just checked, it says I’m doing the progesterone programmed antagonist protocol. I was taking Norethistone for two weeks (down regulating) Now I’m doing GONAL injections and then I’ll start antagonist Ganirelix on Thursday. I saw you are having your babies next month 😊👏🏻
