Hey guys I wonder anyone could help me. I’m currently going through FET. I had a scan on cycle days 3,10,15 and 19 where my lining hasn’t been thick enough. On my last scan cycle day 19 it was 6.9mm. I’ve never had any issues with my lining before and this will be my 4th transfer. I have another scan on Wednesday which will be cycle day 24 which I think they maybe still looking to transfer. What I’m thinking is isn’t it too late now as I will be due my period by the time I transfer if it is thick enough. At what point would they cancel at try again next tome? This is my last NHS transfer so I don’t want to cancel myself and lose the NHS cycle.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex, are you doing a medicated FET? If you are then the drugs will be controlling your cycle. I would think if your lining isn’t ready on weds then they will probably cancel. It’s likely it’s just not playing ball this time. There’s no reason next month won’t be better, I’ve had good and bad lining months with nothing to say why…
I am on progynova then cyclogest and lubion when I’m ready to transfer. Yeah I think it’s just been an off month. I’m just hoping they cancel as I don’t have much hope if they do transfer so late. Thank you for your reply x
I think you have to try and remember that they wouldn't do the transfer if they thought it was too late. It doesn't make sense for them and they want good stats too! So if they do go ahead it is because they think it will work. Fingers crossed xx
Hi Alexm. Oh dear! I think you will find that the clinic won't go ahead if the lining doesn't get to the correct thickness. They will then cancel, so you won't lose your NHS "go". Try not to worry too much, as they want it to work too. Best to delay another month than to risk it. Good luck! Diane
