Scan at 8 weeks

Hi ladies, I had my BFP today, called the clinic and my scan isn't for over 3 weeks! I'll be 8 weeks then if I make it that far. Is that pretty normal now? I was 7 weeks with my son and 6 weeks with my miscarriage xx

My viability scan was 8+1. It really just depends on availability I think. At least at 8 weeks you would be able to see everything you need to, at 6 weeks it can be hit n miss and sometimes you’d need to go back. It does feel like a long wait though! Best of luck xx

I was 7+2 with mine which was 3 weeks after my OTD. Stay strong, the wait is tough, but you got this xxx

That’s when mine was booked for 8+2 it’s when they can be sure of what they see. I did have earlier ones because of bleeding but they don’t do that normally and personally I think it’s best as the earlier ones can just leave you feeling more anxious xx
