I can’t express in a message just how happy I am for you. Just read this now and my heart warmed up. You deserve this more than anyone I know and I don’t actually know you but feel I do!! Deep breaths. Enjoy it now xxx
Congratulations! I’m in the same boat. I cried the whole way through my 12 week scan. I’m 14 weeks now and still pinching myself. I have found my anxiety has eased a little after reaching the second trimester. Wishing you well on your journey xx
Great news! So happy for you. If you can enjoy it, do! I have the same feeling at every scan but it does get easier as it goes along. Hang in there lovely you’re doing amazingly 🥰🥰
Congratulations! A huge milestone reached 🙌 I know what you mean about still being scared - I was scared until our little girl arrived! You will get there though! Enjoy the last six months! Xxx
So happy to see this! This is a huge milestone, completely understand being scared but make sure you let yourself enjoy it and believe it because you bloody deserve it ♥️ xxx
Aceing it🎉🎉 ! So happy for you, and so pleased all is developing as it should. I'm sure you'll feel more and more confident now, and will really start to enjoy this precious pregnancy 😘😘 xx
I’m 26 weeks, went back into the office at 22 weeks. I haven’t had any jabs and won’t until she’s here.
The government advice is from 28 weeks to stay at home if you can, but if you can’t just take extra precautions
With my job I can do either, but I’m very much a visible boss so I will take the extra precautions.
Although saying that I’m isolating at the moment due to the stupid rules of being in contact with someone who’s double jabbed, their household has covid but they could still go into work and now she’s tested positive - but hey ho
You need to do what’s best for you, if your working from home you don’t really need a risk assessment- I did my own, the risk is mitigated as your at home so no risk
Thanks , I work in a school with 800 pupils and I teach small ones that don’t know what half a metre is never mind one or two 🤣 I have two off with covid at the minute and things are getting crazy. That’s us with one week back and only three days of kids 🤯
Glad you can keep yourself safe and be at home too. Look after yourself snd your precious little one needs to come first 😘😘😘💐💐💐💐
Awww this is lovely news congratulations!! Such a huge milestone. Totally understand the scared feelings but I hope those fears start to ease gradually as the days go on and you get to enjoy your pregnancy xxx
Oooh congratulations! Lovely to see a familiar name on here getting some good news. I hope the pregnancy continues to go well, fingers crossed for you x
Only just seen this. Huge congratulations such wonderful news. Big milestone reached so happy for you 🥰I think that we will always worry but wishing you the best with the rest of your pregnancy. You must be only be a week or so behind me ( my due date is 22-2-22) Xx
Amazing! I just had mine too. Due date 8 March. 💪 Can I ask what this 28 week thing us about? Is it a covid thing or general guidance? Thought we could go to the office right up till 40th week? I'm preparing for a battle with my employer to let me work from home (in my case from the UK) for the last 2 months so if this is written in stone somewhere it would be hugely helpful...
This is the link ☝🏻 ‘All employers should consider both how to redeploy these staff and how to maximise the potential for homeworking, wherever possible.’
No bother, you will see yourself the guidance for up to 28 weeks and then 28 weeks on. It’s in black and white and clearly government guidance so little your employer can do! Contact your union or HR fir advice if you run into opposition. Any sensible boss will action this with an abundance of caution towards you! Best of luck 😘
