So I'm an currently going through my first duo stimulation. My first part wasn't very successful and had a poor response, I had 4 follicles on my right and my left side didn't respond at all so they decided to cancel the cycle... That blow hurt. I have done a previous short protocol in Jan with 19 eggs, 11 mature, 6 fertilised, 2 days 5s 1 BFN and another frozen. Second cycle long protocol, 11 eggs 5 mature, 2 fertilised and 1 day 5, frozen... So we went back to short protocol for duo stim and I so disappointed as I didn't respond how I previously did....
So now I'm on stim day 7 of second part of duo stim and I have a scan in the morning, and the stress about potentially hearing another poor response to a protocol they responded well to previously...
Any one have any experience to share?

Hi hon, So sorry to hear it's not going well. I don't have any experience of this but we're probably going to do dual stimulation soon, we were talking about it with my Dr just this week.
Can I ask why you're doing dual when you got pretty good numbers on your previous cycles? We're doing it because of age. I'm almost 42 so the plan is dual stim to get as many eggs and hopefully blasts as possible and test them.
Really hope things go better with these stims and you get positive news at the scan tomorrow xxx
Hi Floodiger. By now you will have had your scan done and results to see whether this cycle is progressing as it should for you. Just wanted to wish you well with the outcome. Diane
