Cramping after BFP 12dp5dt

Hey ladies

So I got my BFP 8dp5dt from an FET and it was really strong tested every day after that and It just got stronger and stronger so I'm pretty elated even tho OTD is tomorrow which is naughty I know lol

Basically the past two days I've had constant cramping nothing too painful but mild cramping and I'm starting to get a bit worried

Does anyone else have any experience of being pregnant this early and having the same cramping and what was the outcome?

Hello,

I had what I can only describe as what I thought was bad period cramping on D7/D8 following a 5dt and went on to get my BFP too. I’m the early weeks, I continued to have cramping which is normal in early pregnancy as your embryo embeds and your uterus starts to stretch. I’m 10 weeks now and still get the odd cramp here and there.

Hopefully it’s just that, but I know it can be worrying. Are you having a beta test done or HPT for tomorrow? Xxx

Hopefully it's a good sign that things are growing like they should be. I think with IVF every twinge you feel it's panic stations thinking it's went wrong or something bads happening when it's probably normal! Thanks for the reassurance.. I'm getting my beta tomorrow I got a BFP in march from a fresh cycle but got constant low HCG at every blood test and went on to miscarry at 10 weeks so I'm super nervous for this one incase the same happens!

Congrats on your pregnancy xxx

Congratulations hon!!We associate cramps with periods but they're not necessarily bad news, just a sign that something is going on in there. I was lucky enough to have a successful transfer and pregnancy a couple of years back and I had mild cramps all the time in the early days. I know it's hard not to worry at this point but it's totally normal. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and healthy xxx

Thank you! It's so easy to worry with IVF at every little movement and pain lol thanks for the reassurance xx

Yes! I'm so glad you asked this. I'm 13dpt, early tester too and all positive but the cramps worry me. They aren't bad at all - generally in one area so they don't feel quite like my time of the month (which can be intense) but pretty constant - almost like a tight or pulled muscle. Never had this so I really hope it's a good sign x

It's stressful isn't it everything you feel you end up worrying about it when it's probably normal!! When's OTD for you? I'm just getting my blood taken now 🥴 xx

How exciting - best wishes for a good outcome!

My OTD was a little earlier - Saturday just gone - but my clinic asks for it at 11dp5dt. It was positive and HCG was good :) I've had two chemicals this year though so I am hyper-aware and addicted to testing. x
