Panicking a lot..... I got my first ever bfp and although i should (and thought I would be over the moon - an understatement), i still worry that maybe i got it wrong or that its suddenly going to stop now! I didn't have many symptoms in the 2ww but those that I did have, a day or two after seem to have gone!! Any comforting/reassuring words?! Xxx

I’m currently 7w 5d and have very little symptoms. I also know many women who go on to have healthy children with no to very little symptoms too. Because we read so much about symptoms we almost expect to have them all at once! Congrats x

It is totally normal for this to happen please dont worry (easier said than done). It was explained to me that we have a surge of hormones which make us have the symptoms. As our bodies get used to it the symptoms disappear. Then we get more hormones and it all starts again. Hope that helps. Xx

That makes sense! Thank you. Its just so surreal xxx

in reply toRefocus

It sure is. Also surreal when an actual baby pops out at the other end. We spend so much time focusing on trying to get pregnant that it is a little weirdly surprising when that happens ha ha xx

Hey! I’m the same at the minute...

Got a BFP on Tuesday morning (10DP5DT) and the clinic have told me to repeat this coming Tuesday and then they’ll do a scan if still positive.

I’ve been scared when I go to the loo, waking up at 3am worrying, all such a stress.

I just want to see another positive on Tuesday. The whole process makes us even more anxious I think!

No advice, but thinking of you too! Xx
