Brown discharge instead of cycle

My last fresh ivf process was two months ago,then after the negative result I got normal bleeding ,this month on the day when my cycle had to start I only got little brown discharge . That lasted for couple of days .Today I noticed very thick discharge with color like light orange to light brown .I also had Covid in July. What is going on? Behind me I got couple of failed IVF but never problems with cycle after it. Please answer me .

I had a strange brown bleed which turned out to be a cyst on my ovary which interrupted my hormones.It might be worth giving your clinic a call if it keeps on persisting just to make sure nothing untoward is going on.

I will next week this is weird.It is possible to be a cyst ,a watery one.

Hi Anemona. Oh dear not nice. It can take up to three cycles for your period to return to what is normal for you. Sounds like you've been clearing some old blood away. See your GP if it continues and he/she will probably arrange a scan for you. Diane
