This time last year I promised myself we would not do another IVF cycle butttttt after lots of thinking and contemplating we decided to do one last round of . This was our 5th Cycle 😔😔
We now have 2 grade 1 frozen day 3 embryos. Thevemvryologist said they are perfect with zero fragmebtation.
I have just started estrogen tablets for our frozen transfer this month. This will be our 4th transfer.
Anyone can share some succes stories with day 3 embryos? I need some encouragement as Im not feeling hopeful. Since we never even had 1 embryo implant 😭

I’ve read many success story’s. I know it’s hard but believe that’s this will be your turn. “Try” to think positive…. I know it can be hard. But you will have you turn.
I had a day 3 transfer 11 days ago. I had a low egg production and only 3 collected. Out of those, only one was viable. They chose day 3 cause it gets it back into the womb where it’s best to be. They only do day 5 when there are plenty of embryos, so it doesn’t matter if some die and they can then see more development and choose the best. But if you don’t have many, day 3 is best so they aren’t gambling with your embryo. Does that make sense? It took me some time to work out the difference but it’s basically a numbers game. If you don’t have many, it’s better to go with day 3 so they’re back where they should be. Day 5 is for when you have lots so they can pick and choose the best developed ones.
I am 30 weeks pregnant today with my day 3 embryo transfer. They only got 2 eggs that round and only 1 fertilised. I was told it was an average looking embryo and they weren't sure it would make it to day 5 to freeze so I requested a last minute fresh transfer. Hopes weren't high but it was my first ever BFP. Made me realise that grading isn't everything. My first round of IVF I had a fresh day 5 transfer of a good graded 4AB embryo which didn't stick. Lots of luck to you xx
