Hi all!

Apparently I need to write an introduction post, so here goes…

I am a military wife and also a practising midwife. I have always had 2 dreams to become a mother and a midwife.

Sadly I didn’t realise how closely my two dreams intertwined until we entered our first year of being unsuccessful of having a family of our own. We are nearing 3 years since our dream and I am finding myself struggle on some days with my being a midwife. I didn’t realise being someone going through infertility and being a midwife would be so incredibly tough.

I’ve also prided myself on being strong, but this journey is something else.

Are there any fellow people working within healthcare out there?

Sending love x

Sorry I don't work in the same area but I just wanted to say it's amazing the job you're doing. But it must be so tough. I hope you get your little one soon x

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine how hard that must be! Work is my escape from my fertility woes - I'm just myself there and no one knows. It makes me feel confident. And most of all - no babies/children talk. You definitely are a very strong lady!

I wish you all the very best with your treatment. I think going through infertility has made me very resilient. It's so tough. But at least by having tests and treatment you know that something positive is happening and your chances of having a baby of your own are increasing 🤞🏻😊

Take care xx

Thank you, it’s certainly challenging some days. I absolutely adore my job but some days I can’t help but think it might be easier if I wasn’t a midwife. Thank you for your kindness lovely! I’m very excited to get treatment started, sadly my husband is deployed for the next few months so waiting until he’s home then we begin 🙌🏻 Each day bring us all closer to our longed for babies x

It does indeed! I hope the wait doesn't feel too long for you. In the meantime you have time to do some research, take some supplements and focus on your health and wellbeing so you're ready when the time comes 🎉 x
