Estrogen during FET

Hi guys. So my first ivf cycle was fresh and it failed. I luckily have 1 frozen little frostie awaiting transfer.

I spoke to the consultant today who wasn't the most explanatory, but basically said I have 2 options, either carry on with my natural cycle and put back frostie when ready, or start meds which is oral estrogen tablets?

What is the difference? Has anyone tried this and has it worked for you.

I'm going to call the clinic tomorrow and ask what will be beneficial by doing this.

So if you do a non medicated natural cycle they will have you check or check for you when ovulation occurs and transfer in line with your natural cycle. So with this there is no planning and I never fancied it as it sounded a but stressful. With taking estrogen this helps thicken your endometrium and stops natural ovulation so the clinic then decide when your lining is optimum then add in progesterone and transfer 5 days later. So this can all be timed to suit the clinic etc and allows more planning. I did the second version I've described. Perhaps some others can offer their experience with a natural transfer. Hope that makes sense.xx
