HCG injections after embryo transfer

Hi Ladies

Has anyone used HCG injections after a transfer and had success?

This is my first time trying this so just looking for others experiences.

Yes I did one the day before transfer, the day after transfer and then two days after that. Both times I did this gave me bfp. My daughter is currently 2 years old and I’m 8+1 pregnant with baby number 2. Definitely try it.

Yes I did! I had a course of pregnyl HCG shots instead of progesterone supplements and it worked for me. I have very bad problems with absorbing progesterone supplements and as a result I rarely get past day 9 post ET without spotting/bleeding. I moved to the Netherlands where the maximum progesterone support is 2x 200mg utrogestan which would have never been enough for me. So I went for the HCG option feeling very nervous. But I had no spotting in the 2ww and a positive pregnancy test. I did feel a bit awful though as I think I had mild OHSS and my ovaries remained huge and painful for a long time. But it was all definitely worth it. Good luck! X

This was after a fresh cycle (with a frozen I don't think you can leave the progesterone out).
