Abandoned Cycle

Hello, my cycle was abandoned last month after taking Busurlin. I was told that there was either a fibroid or polyp in the cavity that needs to be removed. Since stopping the Busurlin I have not had a period. It is a week late now. I only got to take Busurlin as the cycle was abandoned before I could stim. Has anyone experienced this before? A delayed period after taking Busurlin and not stimming? Thank you x

Thank you!! Have you had any experience with this. I seem to have abandoned my cycle at an unusual stage and therefore not a lot of people have encountered this.

No experience myself but did work in a fertility unit that used this medicationJanet

Hello, at what stage have you abandoned your cycle? I have just abandoned mine as but it's too early for me to say whether my period will be late or not as I abandoned it just afte 2 and an half days of using it.

However, I in the past I had to abandoned a cycle half way through the stimulation. I wasn't on buserelin at that time but on cetrotyde (sorry can't remember the spelling) and to get my period back they had to get be me some tablets.

Hi Miracolo2 I had used it for 15 days they needed to abandon. I spoke to a consultant today and he said it can mess up the period but it varies from woman to woman as to how long…….
