As some of you who rallied around my super faint line at 5dp5dt a couple of weeks ago may remember, I've been testing positive since then with encouraging hcg levels (150 at 10dp5dt and 500 on 12dp5dt). But that was now almost a week ago and I've since moved to the other side of the world, just to keep things interesting. It is today 18dp5dt or 23dpo. I haven't had a blood test since 12dp5dt because I'm in a travel quarantine but if it has been rising as it should, it should be around 4000 by now. Today I took a clearblue digital test and it still says 2-3. The FRER is super strong with a v faint control line. But I should really be over 3 weeks now. Anyone in a similar situation who had a successful pregnancy with late 3+ on clearblue? Love to all. Xoxo

Those weeks tests are a bastard for making you worry!
I didn’t get a 3+ until 16dp5dt and my numbers were double yours on 12dp5dt (980) so I think you will see it in a couple of days but completely understand the fretting, it never ends ♥️
I found this article once and found it super helpful, according to this and your estimation on levels, you would be on the cusp so try not to worry and try again in a few days.
I cracked open mine too 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I used to think I was a reasonable, logic driven person... I have nothing to compare it to though so, obviously, I'll need to test again. If it weren't for this quarantine (fckn covid world) I'd walk straight into a clinic and get a blood test. Instead I'm stuck disassembling tests and climbing walls. Maybe I'll fake an emergency (would it even be faking?!) if it's not 3+ until 6+1 weeks latest. I'll PM you about the clinic. X

My gp is testing my HCG and progesterone levels but that does mean there’s a bit of a wait to get the result. I don’t have the time, 2.5 hours round trip, to get my bloods done at my clinic.
I got mine 19dp5dt I didn’t try before then- having been frustrated by them in the past. I think the earliest you could get it would be 16 days past (that would be 3 weeks I think?) so it would make sense for it to change a day or two after that as then you’d be 3+. But they aren’t accurate so I don’t think there’s any reason for concern at this stage.
Give it a few days and test again if you need to but try and put it out of your mind (if that’s possible!). You have very strong positive tests there- so positive that they are drawing the dye from the control line! Xx
Mine was 18dp5dt, but I've seen others take a bit longer. My clinic didn't test hcg levels so no idea what they were.
I had to stop taking the tests because I realised I was driving myself insane so once I got my 3+ I made my partner hide the rest so that I couldn't do any more!
Still 2-3 on 19dp5dt. With my numbers a week ago it should be 5000+ now. This isn't my go, I just know it. It was all just consistently too good to be true.
Hcg takes 48-72 hours to double, it’s not as straight forward as doubling every two days and the higher it gets, the slower it takes. I know it’s really hard to relax but you are fine and there is nothing to say anything is wrong with that little bean.
Take a breath, have a cuppa and just focus on tomorrow. You’ll get there xxx
Them digital tests are awful! Still give me nightmares hahah! I got my 3+ just over 5 weeks but then 2 days later it said 2-3 weeks so I tested again and it said 2-3 weeks!!! I rung my clinic really upset and went straight in for a hcg blood test. I was expecting the worse call when they rung me to say my hcg was 6900 so it should have said 3+ but didn’t!! I’m now 30 weeks pregnant and my friend also got a 1-2 weeks and the next day said not pregnant and the folllwing day said 2-3 weeks pregnant and she’s 39 weeks pregnant now! They are awful and make you so anxious! I felt so much better once I binned them xx
Fckng hell! Are you serious??? I'm too far down this rabbit hole now but maybe, hopefully, it will serve as a lesson for other women down the line.. I've been reading posts on this sh*t from like a decade ago or whenever they first came out.. DO NOT USE THESE BASTARD TESTS to anyone reading this in 2028. 😆
Hahahaha I was so nuts in them early days testing everyday like a crazy woman but it made me stop after that! Worse things ever they are! The early days are just the worse xxx
I thought the 5 day wait to blast was the worst. Till I discovered the TWW. And now here I am, full on lunatic mode, expecting the worst at every single turn. I swear, if this kid turns out to be an asshole after all of this, I'm taking him (just roll with it...) back to the clinic!
Finally got it. Fckn fckn fckn hell! The sleepless nights on account of these mofos! 20dp5dt, 25dpo or 5 + 4 weeks, however you're counting. Never ever EVER taking another test!
I am so glad you got your 3 weeks now. I have also really stressed myself in the past using those tests ( had a few losses) I haven't done that this time as I can't bare the stress these tests cause us and I believe/hope if it's going wrong I'll soon know ( my early losses have always bled heavily) If I get worried about my pregnancy I'll call my dr for a referral to the EPU for a scan/ bloods. Luckily due to my recurring miscarriages I have a reassuring scan Monday where I'll be 7 weeks and 5 days and it can't come quick enough! I never got a 3 weeks on the test until I was 5 and half /6 weeks pregnant ( even in a viable pregnancy) Every women's HCG will vastly vary and I think these tests cause lots of unnecessary stress and anxiety. They are only 93% accurate for the weeks indicator hence they were banned in America and because they cause stress for couples . Even if a women has a lower than average HCG doesn't mean the pregnancy isn't viable the last miscarriage I had the specialist wasn't concerned by the number but more if the level doubled in 48 hours ( which of course it didn't) If you get worried get your GP/ clinic/EPU to do a scan& bloods much more accurate for determining the viability. The wait between the BFP and scan is very long and difficult, the only advice I can offer is to take one day at time. Wishing you the best with your pregnancy Xx

I'd like to think that I only went down this path as I cannot physically leave my house to get a hcg test (I'm in a travel quarantine for another week..) And I know I'm not safe. I've also had two losses at 6 weeks so looking forward to my first scan at 7 weeks. It's a game if checkpoints all this, isn't it. Best of luck for your scan on Monday. Xo
