Clear Blue digitise - wrong weeks

Hi, according to my dates I’m 5weeks and 5 days but a clear digital test has just said 2-3 weeks. I had a mc at 6.5 weeks in February so very anxious. Has anyone else had weird results from Clearblue?

I think u need to add 2 weeks as you would have to 4 weeks approximately before hcg is even picked up on hpt. X

Thanks Coles2020. Even adding two weeks would be 4-5 weeks, but according to conception date would be 5 week 5 days. I'm very worried HCG is not rising as it should and something is wrong.

I saw a similar post some time ago with the same question and I seem to remember from conception. I don’t know for sure but please don’t stress-easier said then done I know - could you do another one in a week? X

Try not to worry. I didn't get a 3+ on a clear blue digital until well over 6 weeks pregnant. The HCG levels have to be over 2500 for it to give you a 3+ result. x

Hi we did a Clearblue before we went for our scan at 6+6, we had had really high hormone levels early on as more than one implanted. The Clearblue showed 2-3 weeks so we assumed it didn't register anything further. Scan showed we had one baby with a healthy heart beat, and 6+6 . So I wouldn't worry.

I did have a mantra/mindset every day, I am pregnant, i cannot think myself pregnant. Best if luck.

So the clear blue shows no weeks pregnant from ovulation (egg collection for IVF). In a normal (28 day) cycle ovulation is day 14. Pregnancy is dated from day 1 of a cycle so official pregnancy is always 2 weeks more than the clear blue says. So by your dates you’re only 5ish days different. I’ve heard lots of stories about clear blue taking ages to go from 2-3 to 3+ so hopefully it’s nothing. I’d test again in a couple of days and see what it says then. Are you using first morning wee to test? That can be a big factor in the no of weeks.
