Clear blue and still showing 2 to 3 weeks

So the clear blue test has still not moved to 3 plus weeks despite now being at 5 weeks and 5 days. Does anyone have a similar experience with this? Should I just ignore these tests and chuck in the bin! This is all so stressful

To be honest I've seen a few ladies have trouble with these tests over the years so if you can step away from the tests and wait for your scan. The only accurate thing our there is if you can get bloods done, a beta hCG would tell you the actual levels.xx

Hello did you use first morning urine ? I had a bad experience with those too I already got a 3+ and I had one left a few days later I done another one and it was 2-3 so I thought the worst but it wasn’t my first urine of the morning so I bought another and done it next morning it was back up to 3+ I won’t use them again cause too much stress xx

This is really helpful, it wasn’t the first urine in the morning and I had drunk a lot of water so I think I will do exactly why you have suggested

Tbh I think the clear blue weeks indicator should be banned. They are so stressful and not always accurate. Unfortunately for me it was right as my tests went backwards at about 5.5 weeks. However, I've read lots online about the weeks indicator not ticking over to 3+ at all and still go on to have healthy pregnancies Inc my friend who had this experience. I personally will never be testing with a weeks indicator again and just test once a week with a normal test until my viability scan. Xxx

Hi dear, so sorry you are all stressed, I was so worried just like yourself when I test ClearBlue, I think as Cinderella5 has mentioned HCG level is more assuring. If you can not wait for the scan book yourself a blood test.

I have to say they accurately predicted all of my miscarriages but that’s not to say they work the same way for everyone. I tested the same time very morning though - I wouldn’t use diluted afternoon wee - FMU would be the most accurate x

Will your clinic give you a blood test? It will really help ease your mind. My clinic weren't doing blood tests due to covid but called them because I was worried. They got me in later that day to test.

My first one was 2-3, four days later 3+ and then 3 days later back to 2-3, i freaked out but read about hook effect and did my experiment the following morning first thing. It was 3+ right back with extra water and hook test showed hook results on frer. I heard some women did not progress to 3+ at all and thus FISA the mean they don’t have a healthy pregnancy. So best to check all options out.

It shows 3 plus this morning which is good news. Fingers crossed everything goes until our scan next week. The anxiety is real
