Hello,

Sadly I had my first unsuccessful FET transfer. How soon after a failed can I go on for a second transfer?

I'm afraid I don't know much about FETs (I've never had anything to freeze!) but just wanted to say I'm so sorry the transfer failed 😔. I know how hard it is xx

You can go on your next cycle , at least that’s what my clinic said. It’s up to you whether you are ready or not

So sorry for your failed FET I had 1 fresh and 1 FET that both failed in April and May, my clinic suggested i rest for 1 cycle or 2 max given my age. Im now doing a 3rd cycle. So i guess you can go for a 2nd one as soon as you're ready. Best of luck!

I recently saw my doctor and she advised that at my age 39, it's best to start the next cycle after you see your specialist. The longer you prolong your IVF treatment, the time will pass as it will determine th quality of egg. In the meantime a healthy diet, look after your health is the best. As for when the time comes for an FET make sure to take 2 weeks off and rest.
