Inspiration needed - has anyone had a successful pregnancy from a compacted embryo transferred on day 5?

Hi 😊

I’ve just been for embryo transfer, day 5.

We started with 26 eggs, 12 fertilised and 6 of which were looking great day 3. I am at risk of OHSS so the doctor’s wanted to do a freeze all. We were happy with that.

Then the clinic called early this morning to say that none had made it to blastocyst. 4 were compacted and none could be frozen.

I’ve stopped crying and sorted myself out!

We’ve taken the decision to have the best 2 transferred today and the rest will be checked tomorrow.

A long way of asking the question, has anyone had a successful pregnancy from a compacted embryo transferred on day 5?

Hey, my last two rounds I transferred morulas (compacted embryos) on day 5. Whilst it didnt work for me I did loads of searching on this site and found loads of positive stories. You are still in with a chance so don't despair they can catch up and go on to be successful pregnancies! Good luck x

I can understand why you'd be shocked after getting no blasts from so many eggs 💔 You're amazing to have pulled yourself together so fast! As others say, people have success with morulas 🤞 They might just be a bit behind. Hoping the other 2 develop further and can be frozen. But if not, it's good the others are already back inside you, hopefully getting comfortable soon xx
