11 Days Post Embryo Transfer

Hi

I did a Clear Blue pregnancy test 10 days post embryo transfer which came up ‘Positive - 2-3 Weeks’ Which technically means 4-5 weeks then did one this morning (11 Days Post Transfer) and it displayed ‘Positive - 1-2 weeks’ which means in turn 3-4 weeks pregnant I then was really worried and repeated this and it displayed ‘Positive 2-3 weeks’. I don’t get this at all.. could anyone please advise if anything has happened similar to them? As you can imagine I’m really worried.

Pregnancy tests are soo confusing. It could be different based on your urine concentration and the time in which you took the test can effect the results. Also preg test are not always 100% accurate.

Congratulations on your BFP MAma!!! Dont worry about what the test result says. Mine said 1-2 week as i tested on 13dp5dt and when I went to see my gynaecologist two weeks later i was already 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Most docs count/document how long you are from the first date of your last last period.

Honestly I really hate those weeks tests so much they cause so much stress. My last miscarriage it showed the weeks increasing but the pregnancy failed as it wasn't in the right location. I would ask GP/ EPU/fertility clinic to run HCG blood tests and can scan you at 7 weeks to see accuracy to see how your pregnancy is really progressing. I would never trust these tests for checking progress on my pregnancy ever again. As I'm under a miscarriage specialist I will be having early scans this pregnancy at 7& 9 weeks . The weeks are only 93% accurate and HCG can vastly vary from every pregnant woman also levels will vary in the day. Don't trust these tests go the experts. Wishing you the best with your pregnancy and congratulations too Xx

Firstly, congrats on your BFP! Focus on the fact that it’s a positive and nothing else matters. You’ll get your due date at the viability scan circa 7 weeks. Best of luck. xx

Congratulations only HCG blood test can monitor pregnancy at this stage till 7 weeks. All the best

The concentration of HCG may have been lower on the 2nd test (less time between pees and been drinking water etc) so those tests are not always accurate. I would say just wait until scan but I knew I couldn’t do that as I was a serial tester so I would say leave it a few days and test again with first morning pee and hopefully that should set your mind at ease 🤗 xx
