Hello! We are going to have a frozen transfer in August to try for a second child. Could you tell me on what day of your cycle you had the embryo transfer procedure? Thanks!

FET cycle day question
Will it be a medicated FET? That's all I have experience of.
As I understand it, with medicated they can control when the transfer will be by controlling when you start taking progesterone. Until then, the clinic can keep you in a kind of 'holding pattern' with the estradiol, so in that case the transfer will be when it's convenient for clinic (and patient) rather than on a specific day of your cycle.
Good luck with your transfer xxx
I only know about medicated FET too. It all depends on there being no cysts and if your lining is the right thickness. Easier than a fresh transfer but can still be unpredictable xx
My FETs have been on day 22 of my cycle x
I should add that they have been medicated with Progynova tablets and Cyclogest pessaries.
It really depends on the thickness of your lining as when you start the progesterone the lining wont thicken anymore (usually about 5 days before transfer). I've struggled with my lining so tended to be kept going longer. Last one I had was D24
I am having a frozen transfer and my transfer day is next Wednesday which will be day 17 from starting my meds as my lining etc is ready now so they have bought it forward from what would have been day 24 x
I had a medicated FET and my transfer was on day 25. It’s different for everyone as it all depends on your lining and if it’s playing ball. I was on oestrogen tablets for 10 days, then you have a scan. When you lining is good you generally take progesterone for 5 days! Good luck xxx
