Had my transfer Wednesday, today I started to get the same feeling i usually get when starting a period (lower dull back aches) . I think I’m going to come on my period soon! It’s too much like period back aches I usually get. I’m gutted, I just wanted one chance! I know it’s early but I don’t think having lower back pains like you get on period is relating to implantation.
Absolutely gutted!
I’m trying not to give up hope, but it’s hard not to X

Keep positive, I had serious cramps and pain like I usually get when I’m coming on my period on 5dp5dt and I got a positive test on test day (11dp5dt). I also had spotting for a few days around 5/6/7dp5dt
Hang in there , this was my 3rd transfer and I got cramps agein this time was convinced my period would start like the last couple of times but I got a BFP on test day. Hang in there, fingers crossed for you x
Had exactly the same at exactly the same point . Even posted about it because I was so down. My cramps were extra painful though and I started spotting at 6DP so took a pregnancy test and got a BFP. My Dr says it’s normal , even if painful. Ive been having cramps in and off since that feel exactly like my period is coming . It really doesn’t mean a bad thing at all. Hang on on there! Treat yourself and watch crap films. That’s what helped me ( sometimes ) to get through it. Good luck.
I had bad period cramps after my FET, I even cried to my husband as I thought it hadn't worked but I got my BFP OTD. I'm now 20 weeks and having a scan today. Good luck and try not to give up hope xx
Hi Gemstar20 ! Like people have said above, don’t count yourself out yet! Try stay positive! Easier said than done I know 🥰😇 All the symptoms I was feeling were the same as if I was getting my period - it is impossible I realised to know if it has worked, if it is your period or even just the symptoms of the progesterone! And we are all so different! Even how we experience our periods. But it all seems to feels the same! At least at the start. I think as we are all fighting so hard for our dream and it is just not coming very easily - it is so easy to protect ourselves and start thinking it will be another “disappointment “, so I completely get how you are feeling. But try take some deep breaths for 5 minutes. Imagine a lovely, safe place where you felt calm, happy and on top of the world! Or go for a lovely walk (hopefully in the sunshine) and just listen to the birds - and people watch! (Sorry - just what works for me hehe). Sadly ivf is no guarantee, I so wish it was for us all 🥺 I do wish you all the best and hope this little embryo is the one! 🤞💛
I did a silly thing yesterday and did a test, 3dp5dt I was feeling low after the cramping and it was a BFN. I had a 5 day transfer with a grade 5AA blastocysts, it was my only chance and although it was early, I’m still holding on to a glimmer of hope and this time I’m waiting until OTD to test again xxx
The best thing you can do is to ignore any and all "symptoms" you might experience, or the absence of any, because they really do not have anything to do with whether or not you are pregnant.
Make sure you’re getting plenty of Rest and TLC hun. Keeping everything crossed for you and emby 🤞🏼 🤞🏼
