I don't remember exact numbers but my levels were fine. I started with short protocol but we cancelled as I didn't responded to well to it and the consultant assured me that we will get a better results with long protocol. I had 17 eggs, 9 were matured, 5 fertilised, 2 made it to day 5 and were transferred. 2 heart beats at week 6, 1 at week 8, 1 healthy baby girl born in Feb - full term:)

Not at all. Approx 16 days on contraception pill, then 1 type of injection for around 10 days and additional type of injection for the next 10 days ( 2 injections per day).

Hi Gianna, I did long protocol this time last year when I was 35 and hubby 43The clinic told me I only had 5% chance of success. I have low AMH. They only ever found 5 follicles at the start and at collection said they would only retrieve 3-4. They retrieved 3 and only 2 were suitable for ICSI and from that only 1 fertilised. I was not hopeful at all but luckily it got to day5 blast and transferred back to me. I had the usual ups and downs along the way but now am holding my 10 week old baby girl, so worth it xx
