Success stories at 38 with mfi?
I don't have any success to share I'm afraid but wishing you lots of luck Gianna x
Yes, I was 39 and my partner was 41 when we did IVF ICSI and we were sucessfull at the first go.
I don't remember exact numbers but my levels were fine. I started with short protocol but we cancelled as I didn't responded to well to it and the consultant assured me that we will get a better results with long protocol. I had 17 eggs, 9 were matured, 5 fertilised, 2 made it to day 5 and were transferred. 2 heart beats at week 6, 1 at week 8, 1 healthy baby girl born in Feb - full term
Hi Gianna, I did long protocol this time last year when I was 35 and hubby 43The clinic told me I only had 5% chance of success. I have low AMH. They only ever found 5 follicles at the start and at collection said they would only retrieve 3-4. They retrieved 3 and only 2 were suitable for ICSI and from that only 1 fertilised. I was not hopeful at all but luckily it got to day5 blast and transferred back to me. I had the usual ups and downs along the way but now am holding my 10 week old baby girl, so worth it xx
Thank you, 3.2 I think it was at the time x
