Confusing/upsetting scan before starting stims.

I had my base line scan this morning before starting my fresh cycle. Previously all my scans have gone really well and lining always played nicely.

However this morning I had my day three scan and the nurse wasn’t happy or sure what she could see. She said my lining was so thick and asked if I have taken a pregnancy test. I have been bleeding heavily and due my period so no I didn’t see any need to do one. (Gone are the days of testing everyday from 6 days before my period is due.)

She went to speak to my consultant who advised to take a test in two weeks and if it’s negative to take tablets which will cause another bleed and then we can start our stims.

It’s all so upsetting and confusing and I’m honestly getting abit defeated with it all.

No questions really just needed to say it!

Xxx

Maybe you are indeed pregnant? That would be amazing! 😊 I've seen some ladies on here say that they bled but were actually pregnant, so you never know. If not, at least it's only a short delay, although I appreciate it's very frustrating when you're all geared up to get started! Fingers crossed for you x
