Hi. I am 44 lost 6 pregnancies (2 IVF) and now moved on to donor. Sorry things haven’t worked out for you so far, life is rough
We went with London clinics as my OH had big issues about anonymous donors (overseas) he felt our children should have the opportunity to trace their donor parent if needed
We went with a london clinic (can PM you the name) it’s basically £11k for one round as your pay for your own round plus donor.
You then have to pay for meds separately
More than double our OE cycles but they didn’t work so trying to justify the spend!
Oh wow-many thanks for your reply-I can't afford that at the moment as IVF cost so much already. So glad you're on your journey though. People kerp telling me to buy a dog but it really isn't helping 😕😒😐😪
So sorry about your IVF not working out. I just thought about your age and didn't know in the UK clinics allowed women at 47 to do IVF with own eggs unless frozen. I thought once you got into your mid 40s you had to have donor eggs. Are you in a heterosexual relationship or using donor sperm. If you are using donor sperm you could consider embryo adoption I read that one woman in mid 50s had it and it worked first time and more affordable than double donation.
My donor egg round was with a known donor, my younger sister
I went with a well known London clinic and we paid about £13,000 - it is more expensive then a normal IVF round you fo yourself as you pay for everything for the donor - you pay for your own meds separate
First transfer from our donor round I’m 15 weeks + 2
This was our third and final round - I’m 41 nearly 42
