Did anyone find lubion really sticky and hard to inject? I have to really push the plunger and I’m paranoid. I’ve got no side affects either so I’m catastrophising already that it’s not working.
This is my 5th FET, transfer Thursday so I’ve had three lubion doses. All quite difficult and painful.

Yes we found that too. My partner injected me but I had to do it a couple of times when he was out. I was fine when he did them (occasionally bled) but I always bruised and bled when I did them! It administers really slowly and I found the first few painful and then it eased off a lot. Also try different locations, directly under my belly button went in no problem but a bit to the right and it was always more painful. You’ll get used to them, good luck x
Exactly the same problem. It’s because the liquid is thick. I had to get the nurse to do it to reassure me but it’s completely normal. Make sure you don’t squeeze too hard once the needle is in (this reduces the resistance) as it burst inside me once and the medication went everywhere. It usually takes 10 secs plus to inject it in as it’s so hard! Just don’t push too hard or add resistance by squeezing the skin as it will burst in my case 😂 hope that helps xx
I had the same too! I iced the area for about 10 seconds before, and the key is to inject really slowly.... they still bruise and bleed a little bit but you can be sure they are going in and doing the job - don't worry xx
What size needle are you injecting with? I currently have 30g (yellow) and it injects v slowly, takes at least 10s to do the whole thing. It’s much quicker with 26g needle (brown) but also way way more painful! So really slow is best xx
I am not sure if you’re supposed to do this but I warmed it under my armpit for 3 mins beforehand and it was more liquidy so went in a bit easier. You get used to them but they are pretty crappy injections. Good luck!! Xx
