What day does FET take place?

What day of the cycle does FET usually take place? My clinic doesn't speak very good english and they aren't communicating well. They said 20 days but my cycles lately are only 22 days! 27 days have been my longest ones. I'm trying to plan for traveling there and I'm worried with my cycles being so short.

Heya. I think it depends on your endometrial thickness - in my clinic you start meds on day 1, they start scanning on day 8 - once your lining is thick enough (could be day 8, could take till day 12-13) you start taking progesterone and then the embryo transfer is 5 days after that (if you have a 5-day blastocyst) . So in my case I started progesterone on day 13 and my transfer was day 18 I think x

Okay, that makes me feel better. Do the injections stop your period from coming that month?

I didn’t have injections. I started tablets on day 1 of period. Had a scan on day 12 then started the Pessaries 5 days before transfer xx

From my 2 FETs, they check the follicle size and endometrial thickness at about day 10 and if all looks good they trigger ovulation and its 5 days after that if it’s a blastocyst. So for me its been around day 17 but that with being triggered. Hope it works out for you x

Mine are 5 day embryos. Not sure that makes a different.

Yes mine were 5 day old also. I really think it all depends on your lining thickness and follicle size before they trigger you to ovulate.

Hi,

It usually takes place about 3/5 days after you ovulate depending on the age of your blastocyst.

Good luck!
