Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Have been on here for a while and gone through all your encouraging posts during our individual journeys of becoming parents. I am now about to commence my 2nd IVF this time it is a frozen transfer of a day 5. My first transfer back in august 2020 was a fresh one that was a BFP however ended in an 18 week miscarriage due to infection.
Quite nervous for this round however praying for a miracle that this will also be a BFP. How does a frozen transfer work? Is it much easier than a fresh? I also have 10 embryos left all at day 5. I am wondering what the + sign means in front of my grade e.g. 3b+b+ or 3ab+. Thank you for the information in advance

I am about to start a medicated FET. Day 21 of my menstrual cycle I will be taking the norethisterone for 5 days, 4 days after I start taking those I’ll be on suprecur for 18 days, I’ll then have a trigger shot and transfer a week later. So it’ll be 4 weeks from the first tablet until transfer. I have 4 at grade 4AA and 2 lower graded ones, day 5’s. I looked up the grades online and I found a table which explains what it all means.
However, I’m really not sure we should focus too much on the grades. My clinic gave me such a positive feeling when they did the fresh transfer of the grade 4AA but it didn’t implant.
I’ve had a previous fresh cycle work 5 years ago so there’s most certainly hope.
I wish you all the best with your frozen embryos.
And I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to go through so much to get to be a mum xx
