Hi lovely ppl,
We've been struggling a bit with all the consultants NHS and private because of my severe endometriosis and this just delays actually starting IVF.
So on my laparoscopy they found a borderline cancer on my tubes (borderline very rarely progress to cancer). And my ovaries are stuck behind my uterus, apparently this makes egg collection difficult. On NHS the consultant said we'd have to go for donor eggs and the private wants me to have surgery to make ovaries accessible but wants tubes to be removed to reduce any risks. None advice testing if the tubes are blocked to avoid spreading any of the borderline cells. The oncologist is just monitoring me and my c125 markers have been going down and everything is fine. He even said that if everything is fine throughout out this year he'll leave me be.
My question is how can I get a second opinion from someone that does not have their own agenda. Is there a charity that have fertility or and oncology specialist that I can consult?
Sorry the long post and thank you for taking the time to read it.
All the love,
