Ivf stimulation and period

Hi this is my first time Ivf and i started my period the day before yesterday ( monday full flow) the nurse told me to start injecting myself from my 2nd day of period which was yesterday (tuesday) so i did. Today my period has disappeared after 2days i usually get a 5day period and usually they are irregular. I dont know if it matters now or if i should ask the nurse of just carry on with stimulating can anyone advise please. Thanks in advance.

It’s never happened to me but periods whilst doing IVF I’ve noticed can become unpredictable.

If you definitely had a full low, then I would carry on injecting until you speak to the nurse. They may choose to investigate. It is definitely worth informing them of your observations.

Thanks for replying. Iv just took my shot. And will call the nurse at 8. Just really nervous waited so long dont want the cycle to cancel.

Hi Rosie. Just remember that your clinic have prescribed drugs so thay can manipulate your hormones into reaacting the way they want them to do. So far you're OK. Good luck and I hope the cycle goes as it should. Diane

Thanks Diane yes your right i just got worried as i couldnt find any answers for my scenario. The nurse told me to carry on and they will check everything at my scan so glad
