Iβm currently in the two week wait. My embryo transfer was on Saturday (3 days) we had two eggs still brewing which unfortunately neither made it to blastocyst stage π’
I feel really scared about the embryo that was transferred π why should this one grow, develop and implant when all the others havenβt.
I know itβs extremely early but I have no symptoms. No even from the dreaded progesterone! Zilch!
I just feel like this is never going to work for us. π

Your thoughts and fears are very normal! With each transfer, I know I feel more and more negative, becoming certain that this one too won't have worked. It's such an imperfect science and impossible for doctors to say why one embryo will implant and another won't. One of my best friends has really bad endometriosis and her husband has a low sperm count. They were told their odds were less than 10%. She got pregnant on their first transfer and now has an eight month old. And then there's someone like me - no obvious fertility issues but I've had three transfers - one miscarriage and two failed to take. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason sometime (all the time) and we're all so vastly different. And our embryos are so different too. Allow yourself to feel negative but don't let that be all you feel. Feel positive sometimes too, and some days just be realistic and accept that once that embryo goes in, there's not a lot you can do to affect the outcome.
If it doesn't take this time, it's gonna suck and you'll need some time to get over it. But when you feel ready to, you will try again. And it only takes one healthy embryo to take in a healthy environment. Your turn for that could be just around the corner! X
Nearest and dearest love us and mean well but it's difficult for them to get it if they haven't gone through it. Xx
I just wanted to say don't panic. whilst loads of people do FETs there are a lot of us who never got enough to freeze either. Just focus on quality rather than quantity. I know plenty of people who have got pregnant with poor quality embryos and loads of people who haven't got pregnant with super quality embryos so just focus on thinking positive and hope it works x
