Feel kind of bummed out. I retrieved 5 eggs and all 5 fertilized. Yesterday I had two day 5 blastocyst transferred. I called the clinic and they said they were unable to freeze any of the remaining 3. Kind of bummed because it made me think the two they transferred are weak. Granted the 3 remaining didn’t even make it to blastocyst. This is my 5th cycle so being positive is so hard to do.
Remember that they always transfer the stronger first - obviously they were strong growers as they were blastocysts already!
You have two on board and they are 5 day blastocysts! How exciting! Hopefully you won't need any frozen and this will be your time. Stay positive Xx
I am so sorry. My last cycle they fertilized, I believe it was 15 or a little less. They transferred two and were only able to freeze one and mentioned it wasn’t a strong one. I did another cycle in Ukraine two years later and I ended up freezing eight great ones. Every cycle is different, praying these babies stick for you! Stay positive as hard is that is, I am trying to stay positive myself!
