Unprotected intercourse

Me and my partner had unprotected intercourse 2 days after egg retrieval is that a problem? They didnt give us any advice on when we can return back to activities. Not having embryo transfer this month as i have frozen my eggs. Is there any chance of pregnancy with smaller follicles which haven’t been retrieved if there are any? Wont that be a very risky pregnancy if it does happen? Freaking out a bit! The advice leaflet didnt say anything about intercourse.

Hi, it isn't a problem at all. My clinic say u can go back to ur normal activities right away after egg collection. At the end of the day, we want to get pregnant. it'll be even better and less risky if you got pregnant naturally rather than ivf. All the best for you xxx.

Usually you should abstain for 7 days to decrease risk of infection.

No risk of pregnancy because the egg survives 24 hours only after ovulation.
