I met my midwife for the first time today I’m 17 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I asked whether or not it was safe to have intercourse and she advised me not to, till I am at least 28 weeks. I know everyone is different but thought I would share this. I had two embryos transferred and one stopped progressing at 6/7 weeks so this could be the reason for not giving me the go ahead..
Hope everyone is doing well and it’s lovely to read the success story’s lately
Keep on fighting ladies and hopefully your dreams will come true xx

Hi Emma, like minchoo I also wonder what the reason is. We decided not to until end of first trimester and then I was told I had suspected placenta previa which was confirmed at 20 weeks scan, so definitely a no no for us now. Oddly I wasn't told to avoid though by midwife or consultant, but I read that it's not a good idea with low lying placenta so decided to avoid. Cuddles & kisses are good 😍
Ooh really! I've decided that I just don't want it lol. I don't want to chance it. I told my husband that I can't deal with the anxiety of seeing any blood, even if it's old!! Luckily he is completely fine with this, he doesn't want to either 😁 xx
