My ungraded very early blastocyst defrosted to a 4BB, I had the transfer today.
Could anyone give me some good stories with a 4BB embryo?
Thank you ❤️

Well mine was a 3bb so same letter grading but a bit behind, and is now 24 weeks in my surrogate. So I’d say 4bb a better chance! That seems very positive that it progressed to 4bb from early blast after thaw - sounds like it has sprung into action!x
I had bb and ab transferred and have twin girls x
I’m 9 weeks pregnant with a 4bb. Still a long way to go but this one stuck rather than the 5aa I had transferred last time. It’s a good grade. Good luck. 🤞
I had 4BC or 3BC ( on a scale up to 6) and I am looking at my 9 weeks old daughter. Dont worry to much about the grading as long as the clinic adiveses to go ahead with transfer. I heard about highest grading embrio failing to implement and so-called poorer quality resulting in beautiful, healthy babies. Best of luck.
3BC, lower grade than yours. Currently 22weeks. At this point I’ve had no major issues. I was upset by the grading but after talking with our consultant he said he’d seen higher grade embryos not implant and low implant. Wishing you lots of luck xx
a study found that if blastocysts develop to a better grade folllowing thawing, the pregnancy rate increases: "For fair embryos, progressing to a better grade during the culture resulted in a higher clinical pregnancy rate (25.4% vs 9% p = 0.05). "
Hi! Mine was a 3bb so yours is better than mine and when mine defrosted they said it defrosted ‘beautifully’ so not sure what it was when it was transferred... however I am now 29 weeks pregnant with a little girl! Wishing you all the luck on your journey xxx
4 years ago, I had a 4BB transfer that is now my precious daughter! Good luck xx
That sounds very promising! Did they thaw it the morning of the transfer day? I didn’t realize they would start developing again so soon after thawing. Curious as I’m currently doing a three round egg collection and will be choosing the best embryo from either my frozen sets or the fresh one from the last round.
No, because it was a very early blastocyst they started the thaw the afternoon before. So it had almost 24 hours of thawing before it was transferred. What is a three round collection?
Good luck with everything. ❤️
Oh that makes sense. I have one early blast and then 3 three further a long. So I suppose if I used a frozen one this time they would probably thaw it on the morning of transfer. I’m doing natural modified cycles where they expect you to only get a 1-2 embryos each time. So the doctor recommended doing 3 egg collections and then we can choose the best embryo for transfer on the last round.
One of my twins is a day 6 4bb x
Thank you so much for your kind comments. You’ve all given me so much hope ❤️
I'm currently 10 weeks 5 days pregnant with a gorgeous 4bb ❤ good luck xxx
