7 week scan - not great

So I have had a couple of scan: last week at 6 weeks and today 6 weeks and 6 days. At the first scan I had two sacs, yolks and the smaller of the two had a heartbeat. Today still only one heartbeat, and they don’t seem to have grown. I’m assuming despite the heartbeat no growth over 6 days is very bad at this stage. .. I’m feeling very down and expecting the worst.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Hi EBC. So sorry to hear this, but it could be that one has failed to grow, and the other just needs to catch up. Not what you want to hear, but I'm keeping everything crossed for your second little one. Thinking of you. Diane

I think if there is a heartbeat it’s still good news. Did they do transvaginal or abdominal US? I think it those early days the measures can be different between examiners...

anyhow you should do another one in a week hopefully better news by then!
