My body outright rejects it, it will work for a week or so, then know it’s fake? Break through bleeding starts. I have never been pregnant (only saying this as worried if my body tries to bleed then too), but at the moment been bleeding since January. Tried Rigevidon and Provera - neither is liked but Provera worked a little better. Any advice would be appreciated I do have stage 4 endometriosis so I guess more hormones then the average (well it effects 1 in 8) - any similar stories of body just hating the pill?? If it does did you bleed when pregnant? Or I am guessing as that is natural hormones you had no bleed? Just curious as will be going for ivf soon!

Does the pill work for you? My body hates it!
Before the days of trying to get pregnant, I struggled with the pill too. The ones that were more oestrogen heavy caused problems with my cervix bleeding and the more progesterone heavy ones made me bleed for weeks on end. I bled in the first trimester of both of my pregnancies but it wasn't connected to the IVF drugs or hormones that I know of. In my unsuccessful round, my body was having none of it and my period started days before my official test date. The drugs didn't do enough to keep it away!
I also bled heavily at the end of my first pregnancy but baby was ok and I just had to have iron supplements to help recover.
It is common to bleed in early pregnancy but if it happens to you, you will have your clinic for support and advice. Good luck with your IVF xx
Hi Minchoo, have you tried the mini pill? I have had terrible vomiting with my periods for years and at one point I was one the combined pill back to back but started getting breakthrough bleeding. Gp I saw at this point said of course you would start to get this eventually on combined pill, and switched me to mini pill. That is the only thing that has ever sorted out my awful periods.
Will check I think rigevidon is the mini pill? But will definitely ask my GP! Thank you 😊
I was on cerezette which I think is a very modern one. I did start getting breakthrough bleeding on that just before stopping to try for baby number 2. Do you have to be on it for the endo? Have you tried an implant? Fingers crossed for your ivf xxx
Thank you! Travelling to Cyprus for it - when we can in the meantime going try control bleeding and get fit as possible. I haven’t heard of that one. I am on provera which you have to pay for 3 times a day! Progesterone only. Doc recommended it. I still got bleeding when I wiped, but now it’s coming out as breakthrough! It’s been like this since January. On Zoladex too which is an implant makes your body go into a false sense of menopause (shuts hormones down) hopefully that will kick in (specifically for endometriosis) but my body knows all these things are fake 😂🤣 it’s very stubborn
