Is dairy good for follicle growth?

Hello

I started stimming with gonal f on Friday night. I have read mixed reviews about dairy intake just wondering has anyone advice/experience on drinking full fat milk to help follicle growth during a cycle?

Thank you

I'm a strong believer in full fat milk (organic) for follicles! I haven't done a cycle without it but my first cycle I did start drinking more of it about halfway through when my follicles were growing slowly, and I think it helped x

The first few days on stims I had very few follicles. I started a glass of full fat milk on the 3rd day and they shot up and I ended up with 12 big enough. For me I really think it helped, it’s worth a try! x

I start stimming tomorrow and I was wondering the same, as have read about it too. Do you know how much is recommended a day? Thanks

It varies what I have read. I’m going to just try a glass of organic full fat every day and see Hoe my scan goes Friday. I have low AMH so I will try anything. Best of luck with stimming.

Yep it helps. We consulted a fertility nutritionist and I was told 500ml full fat milk with a scoop of whey protein isolate, fruit and veg would really help.

We saw a nutritionist too, what she said made so much sense - full fat milk is a definite. Good luck x

If you have had your immunes tested and have high NK and cytokines which are inflammation markers, then red meat and dairy (milk, cheese, yoghurt because of casein) tomatoes and sugar increase inflammation, which is not what we want for a successful implantation. Best to have coconut yoghurt, fish, organic whey protein (without casein) hemp protein.

Hello no I haven’t had any of those tests done. I only eat red meat once a week since starting IVF journey mainly fish, chicken Turkey green veg etc. and no dairy up to now I think I’ll stay on the full fat while stimming and I’ve read about not drinking it during implantation but I’ll know more after my scan if it has helped.

Thank you for responding.
