Hi ladies, I had immense support from this fantastic community and was lucky enough to have my first baby through IVF in 2019 (second fresh cycle).
LEZ-If possible, if love to have a second baby but I know the odds are still against me.
I had hoped it might happen naturally (everyone tells me of a tale where someone they knew had an ivf baby and then conceived naturally really easy second time around - I even know people with these stories). However it’s not happening for us which is ok.
I want to do what we can to help things happen naturally and if not, consider IVF again.
I’m reluctant to go to the ivf clinic yet as I’d first like to get a quick work up and check I’m doing everything to optimise my fertility right now. Who might be best to see to get help from?
My other concern is that Ive continued to breastfeed my little girl 2-3 times in a 24hr period. My GP won’t help me further unless I stop breastfeeding, however I’m not ready to stop (particularly as worried that this is my only chance and so don’t want to end sooner than needed) and my little girl has always been very into her breastmilk, but it’s on my mind.
Sorry for the ramble, I just don’t know where to turn right now for the best advice. Appreciate totally that I’m very lucky to have one baby, just want to do what I can to have a second if possible.
