Back To Back IVF / IUI

Does anyone know how long we need to wait between rounds of IVF/ IUI ? I have no embryos in freezer so it would be from the start again. I got a BFN on Friday & AF arrived today . ( happy Mother’s Day to me 🙄 ) Ideally I’d like to start treatment before the world opens up again and I’m back to work . Has anyone had treatment like this close together ? Xx

Sorry to hear your last transfer wasn’t successful, big hugs. Normally clinics like you to have a two bleeds before you try again. So counting this one you have now as one, you would need a ‘normal’ period after and then you should be able to start x

Sorry to highjack the conversation, but is this also true when you don't have any transfer and just do back to back collection?

I’m not sure MofM. I know some people do multiple rounds to bank embryos but not sure what the wait time is between as I haven’t done that xx

Hi there, I am currently doing a 3 cycle package of embryo banking. At my clinic, it is every other month but you can do it much slower. My age is a factor so at the moment, I did first cycle in January, after egg collection, I had a period, then waited for the next period after that to start stims which I am currently doing. I am on day 9 of stims and on my way to a scan today to find out when EC will be. Hoping to finish 3rd cycle by early May!

Sorry to hear your news. X My clinic has waited for one bleed and had also done back to back treatments. I think it mainly depends on your blood tests, and your mental health. I have done five ivf cycles in a year (I’m old and don’t have time to wait!), and there is no doubt it takes its toll. Take care of yourself.

This will be my 3rd round , like you I am older ( 40 in dec ) I refuse to stop as time is against me too 😔 Sending hugs to you 5 cycles must be tough to go through , I admire your strength & determination as it defo takes its toll ❤️ Xxx

So much luck for the next round. Although it’s tough I try to focus on how lucky I am to have the option to keep trying. It doesn’t always work... but focusing on feeling hopeful and grateful helps me. It’s not over until it’s over! ♥️ In the breaks between trying be very kind to yourself x take care

Sorry your cycle failed. The best round I had was a back to back round. I got my BFN and had my withdrawal bleed and started stimming on day one of my next period 3 1/2 weeks later x
