Hi, im running ahead of myself. I am currently doing my second medicated Frozen embryo transfer ( first one was unsuccessful). If my pregnancy test is positive, what appointments am i expected to have after and how often. I know I am running ahead of myself, i am just concerned about asking too much time off work.
Also, I am currently on utrogestan and i am incredibly dizzy. Has anyone found any ways to alleviate these symtoms some how?
Firstly good luck for this FET! I hope you get your BFP. The only appointment I had after the positive test was 3 weeks later for the viability scan. After that I was discharged from the fertility clinic and to the NHS. Next appointment will be phone consultation with the midwife followed by dating scan around 12 weeks.
For utrogestan, I had the same dizzy side effects and I even fell because I accidentally ate together with food during my ERA test. I called the clinic and they changed to Cyclogest pessaries for me. I was going to try to finish my mock cycle because only a couple of days but the clinic said to me there is no need to suffer if I really feel uncomfortable because in the FET and if I am pregnant have to continue with it for 10 weeks. So I think you should call your clinic and ask whether can change to other progesterone medication. Try to eat utrogestan when your stomach is absolutely empty. I tried morning just got up, evening before sleep. My problem is the lunch one, no matter 1 hr before lunch or 2 hrs after lunch I feel dizzy. It can be dangerous for pregnant women. Congrats!
