In limbo, uncertain viability on scan

Had a positive test on Valentine’s Day (11dp5dt) after a frozen transfer. First scan was on Monday when I should have been 6+3. There was a gestation sac, yolk sac and tiny fetal pole (2.6mm) but no heartbeat yet. Sonographer said scan was difficult as I have an axial uterus but I was measuring 4 days behind which is too much and effectively to prepare myself for the worst. Having another scan next week. Confusing thing is I’m still feeling nauseous, exhausted and intermittent sore boobs and I’ve had no pain or bleeding.

Has anyone else had a first scan like this and it gone on to be ok? It’s gutting to think after the first time I’ve ever seen 2 lines on a test it might be over so soon 😢

No advice but just wanted to say I’m crossing everything that it all works out fine at the next scan for you. ❤️
